Pandemonium - Chris Wooding, Cassandra Diaz (Illustrator) I don't know what I loved more: the dark and stylish world, the enthusiastically evil characters, the bright and sarcastic protagonist or the fact that no one takes themselves or their world too seriously. It also has characters with names like Queen Euthanasia Pandemonium and Tombchewer, which I think is almost worth reading for that reason alone.
